“Luminaries”

Spirits…
People…
Bodies…
Lights…

The power of light…
Shining through all the darkness…

Buried barely beneath the fairy tales…
Ships sail through “gale force” winds with only one vision…
Spread light to all places of blight…
Rarely ever is a course defined…But the inner light inside guides the mind…

Hidden between the lines of history were these visionaries…
The luminaries…
The shunned ones who saw society had done wrong…
And tried to remedy the flaws…
Made enemies with the “pawns”…
Got caust for the righteous cause…
Distraught over the loss of the common clause that states all life is precious…
However insipid beliefs breed grief all too readily…
When you’re told not to hope or dream…
It takes great courage to break through this darkness…
Prove you’re just as important being as any other could be…

I feel Martin Luther King Jr. was a luminary…
