Intro: A One Act Monologue…Sanity defined…

Today they dared to dissent…
Upset the levers set for peace…
Belief that there is more to life…
Than what they see…

What we dream is being the peacekeepers…
Pacify these beastly beings…
Through our wisdom and speech…
And if need be…
Faith so “sharpened” by divinity…

Our right beneath the sun…
Ones with the sacred trust…
Manifest through divine texts…
Success based on more of us…
And less of them!

Who would’ve thought we’d rise…
From a state of near demise…
To this place of pride…
And these things think they have the right!?
To spite us!?

They try and try!
But they will fail!
For we have faith and fate on our side!
The power of the divine!
The power of might!
To swoop in and sweep these things…
Into  the darkness of endless night!

Never again will we stay silent…
Forever now we shall be tyrants…

All these pieces hold onto a single thought…
A single memory that tempts me to believe…
That if I could piece back together these pieces of me…
I would be able to see who I am…
So I grasp a piece…
Raise it up to my eyes…
I see…

A form of me I’ve been trying so hard to hide…
Those with sight are still blind…
For my smiles hide all pains inside…
You can’t see my heart…
Only this facade…
Well crafted “Art”…
Tailored to each individual part I must play…

Sadness is that stowaway…
Forever locked…
Keys exchanged for this scarred face…
Pain…

Slurry repeated statements… 🙂
Each time I start a page prefaced with your name…
I realize I’ve already failed…

For I’m at a loss of words now…
Your beauty cannot be bound by any known syllabic sounds…
Yet subliminal vows told and retold through this bow…
Thoughts that beget from my heart…
Flow through true to my mind…
Tart…
For mind maintains a semblence of tension…
Worry…
What the heart mentions…
Again…
Again…

Try with every ounce of might…
To write…
To scribe…
To try…

Perhaps…
To try is the same as love…
Try…
Scribe away…
Fail…

Let the other lights dye dark…
Show your shine…
Don’t let the other lights parse through your life…In their attempts to break you down from your goals…
You by yourself are whole…Remain bold…
Always keep your will stowed by your heart..
Taking risks and hits because of who you are…
Wondering why your spark seems so small…
Each thought that you recall is accompanied by a silent bawl…?
Fallacy in mind and thought…!
You are more than who or what you think you are…

You are your own star…
Life need not be lived large…
Only matters of the heart should take part in making your mark upon this world of Art…
Whether it’s through small deeds or large feats of glory…
Understand that you are a star of your own story…

Don’t give in to the pressures of “fitting” in…
Let the lights around you…

No Worries {A moment in time}

Love..Likes…
Feelings on ice…
Should I feel remorse for the truest thoughts I’ve spoken…?
Hoping to rewind back the hands of time…?
So I could take back just one line?
With a 4 letter word, followed by “you”…?
I can’t…
I refuse…

Never have I met someone so in synch with me in facets I never even thought to conceive…
Where thoughts of mine used to go to be all alone…
Now have someone to hold on and show the world…
Never have I met someone who loves the written word more than me…
The ability to humanize and bring tears to my eyes…
For your thoughts have so much depth and emotion…
Your words helped me entertain the notion that what I write…
Has meaning…That there is no ceiling to the impact I could make on your life…
That “like” is only the beginning…

So I can wait…
In fact I know one day…
I’ll find that “star gate” straight into your heart…
Where I hope to forever reside in the warmth of your love…
Maybe I’m already there waiting…
I can wait…
I will wait…
I have no worries..

Imagine a world where all infants survive…
To see the age of five…
Where no one is no longer deprived…
Of their right to life…
Imagine that kid mixing sand and sticks…
Gets that chance to become something big…
A scientist?
A teacher?
Or a just living sibling…
Humans kindling beautiful thoughts and dreams…
No more nightmares…
For now life has now become fair…

Dare I say I’ve seen love in its purest forms…
From the embrace of a mother and child…
To the caress of lovers shine…
Bathed in the light of life…
From night to night…
All shades & stripes…
All forms of life…

Down to smallest microbe…
Clouds elast back and forth…
Forgo barriers a mor…
Love becomes the mode…
The valance…
Migrate towards happiness…

Charges begin to pulsate…
Ions find mates…
Courtship takes place…
Love makes life…
New bonds bathed in the light…
Of the Divine…

Release the heat…
So Mother Earth can be as She…
So we can witness belief…
Be forged once again…
Through toil and tend…
Make ammends with all beginnings & ends..
