I’ve been told…
It is time…
To let go…

I still can’t believe…
How we got here…
Every word left behind…
Stings so many times…
We failed you…
I failed you…

Perhaps my friend…
Wanted it this way…
An end to all the pain…
But was this the path to take…?

I too want an end to this pain…
Each day I pray and hear silence…
I too have tools to do the deed…
And meet you my friend…

One day I will see you again…
I don’t know when…
But this world isn’t for me either…

Time to decide…
Which phase of life…
While all this time…

A story so foretold…
Through this very last note..

I just couldn’t do it anymore…
I couldn’t live. knowing no one cares…

From the skies to the ground…

My prayers went unanswered…
While all around I see happiness…
Where is my happily ever after…?

Filled with nothing…

Nothing more to know…
Goodbye all…

Some spirit within me…

This day…
This day…
Finally…
The voices are so clear…
Heart is so full of fear…
Couple dozen years…
Replay so near…
Cold metallic object…
Pressed on my skin…
Wondering what will happen…
If I chose to do the deed…
Voices plead…
Yes!
No!
Yes!
No!

Torn between those two sounds…
Torn between two beams of light…
One with a dark hue…
While the other burns so bright…
What path shall I choose…?

I don’t know!
Fall to my knees…
Begging someone…
Something…
Please answer me!

Faith tells me You are the One…
Yet here I am…
Hearing nothing as I call out…
Why am I even me…?
Don’t understand why I even came to be…
Why couldn’t you just silence me…?
That day when I first cried…
Now it’s this day…

Feeling the spirits scream…
The voices proclaim…
That you are out of place…
You don’t fit amongst them…
Come back to us..

But how can I…?
I still have their desires…
Still need and want all…
Walls come closer…
With just one outlet…
One light…
Blinded by what’s just beyond…
Drawn…

Yet other spirits scream…
Tinged with a familiar voice…
Faint…
No not a voice…
Echos of past choices…
And what I’ve seen…
Read and dread what I may do tonight…

Who are you…?
Today I was all smiles…
But now those voices tell me…
Only one deed can set me free…
But what about them…?
Being different hurts…

But they don’t hate you…
But they don’t care too…
Pacing knowing no one loves me…
Praying…
Praying for what they have…
Praying one day I can stand…
And proclaim…
I belong…

The winds still carry the story…

Sweet Echo II {No More}

Remember…
Way back when…
You and me…
Never missed a beat…
Now I skip back each chance…
Just to see if she’s there…
Waiting for me…

Instead the winds greet me…
With the warm embrace of past memories…
But just as fate frees me…
Winds leave ever so swiftly…
Leaving this soul in pain…

Wondering when…
That chamber of echos…
Feels like your voice again…

[Missing notes…
Missing quotes..
Missing most…
Your sweet echo…]

Memories of you…
Form part of who I am…
If past tense…
Could be present once again…
But fate had other plans…

Faith lead me to believe in you and me…
Winds reminded me of your sweet embrace…
As if today’s pains began to dissipate
Into a cloud borne from all the self hate…
That had taken peace away from me…
